Qualification
(a) Ph.D with a First Class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Engineering / Technology / Science. (b) Ten years experience in Teaching/ Industry/ Research out of which five must be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent. (c) Desirable qualifications: Five years experience in implementing and managing e-governance applications. (d) Evidence of Academic, Organizational, Professional and Technical experience and skills should be produced at the time of interview. (e) A relaxation of 5% marks at Masters level is allowed to the SC/ST candidates (f) For personnel from other Government IT Institutions like IT Mission/ CDAC/ NIC/ CDIT/ Keltron on deputation basis, the experience factor will be considered rather than their academic qualifications and Ph.D will only be an optional qualification.

About Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) – केरला एग्रीकल्चरल यूनिवर्सिटी:

The history of agricultural education in Kerala can be traced back to the year 1896 when a scheme was evolved in the erstwhile Travancore State to train a few young men in scientific agriculture at the Demonstration Farm, Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram, presently, the Cropping Systems Research Centre under Kerala Agricultural University. Agriculture was introduced as an optional subject in the middle school classes in the State in 1922 when an Agricultural Middle School was started at Aluva, Ernakulam District. The popularity and usefulness of this school led to the starting of similar institutions at Kottarakkara and Konni in 1928 and 1931 respectively.
